Block Gardens and Skeletal Leaves

Liebling Haus - The White City Center, Tel Aviv, 2025

Series of 15 monoprints – CNC cut, cardboard, print color and collage on paper.

The series of works is based on the original morphological mapping of the pocket gardens designed by Patrick Geddes in Tel Aviv, and on botanical elements drawn from those same gardens.

Block Gardens and Skeletal Leaves was created through the deconstruction of this formal archive and its reassembly into a hand-crafted collage and multilayered print, reorganizing the index into an abstract composition – an imagined microcosm born of both meticulous design and the hand of chance.

Throughout the process, the botanical elements underwent a long manual transformation that revealed the inner structure of the plant as a kind of skeletal form – an architectural organization in itself: natural, unique, and abstract.

The series was created in collaboration with the Gottesman Etching Center, Kibbutz Cabri.
