The series is based on photographic documentation of outdoor sculptures and public cultural and sports buildings across the city.
I manually extracted these elements from their urban context and transformed them into hybrid forms.
Created as a hand-made “broken” script, I use iconic images familiar to every Jerusalemite, offering a renewed perspective on forms that may have faded over time.
“Postcards from Jerusalem” seeks to evoke forgotten emotions or memories of wandering through the city.
